The Finlay is finally here! This Monday we are proud to launch the Women and Gender Minorities subcommittee of the L&H. Named The Finlay after Mary Finlay-Geoghegan, the first woman auditor of the L&H. We will be officially launching The Finlay subcommittee this coming Monday at 6:30 pm in the Village auditorium with a thrilling panel discussion. Joining us on the night will be former Supreme Court Justice Mary Finlay-Geoghegan, Maebh Harding of UCD Law faculty and Ailbhe Smyth an Irish academic, feminist and LGBTQ activist. Please come along and hear these incredible women speak and learn more about what’s to come from the Finlay l! This subcommittee aims to promote debating and greater opportunities for women and gender minorities to participate in all areas of debating and discourse.
